Milan became professional

Milan Lalkovič and Chelsea organisation have agreed on 3-year contract valid since July 2010. It´s been Lalkovič´s first profi in his developing career. "My dream came true. It´s been my desire to sign with Chelsea since I came here," says Milan Lalkovič, reserve´s and Youth team player. "I will focus on doing the best I can and hopefully I could get into the first team. To reach that, I have to work hard, play good for reserves as well as for Youth. I would like to defend FA Youth Cup trophy in upcoming season," talks Milan about his closest aims.

Both player and Chelsea parties met on 2nd of July to find conclusion in this matter. "Player has received the first bid just few months ago. Contract was signed today, it lasts three years," says licensed agent Milan Lednický.

Following Miroslav Stoch, Milan Lalkovič became 2nd Slovakian, who signed with Chelsea. "I would like to thank my family for support, than to people in Chelsea, who help me a lot and Mr Milan Lednicky, thanks to whom I moved from Slovakia to this great club," added Lalkovič.
