FC Sydney have finished A-league´s regular season in a great style.

Sky Blues remained at the top of the ladder from the very beginning to the end and earned historic 66 points. The last game against Newcastle Jets (2:0) has turned a small ceremony after the final whistle.

"We are happy to finish the regular season in this way. New challenge is coming now, the play-offs. We will do our best to become absolute champions," says Filip Hološko after Saturday´s game in which he assisted on determining goal of Ninkovic.

FC Sydney got the ticket to semifinals. "Quarterfinals will be held later this week, so we are waiting for the opponent now. This is good time to prepare in a best way," added Hološko, who is looking forward to playing in front of huge crowd in semis.

"High attendance is expected for the semifinals. Our fans deserve memorable season and we are here to make it for them," concluded Slovak forward.
