Lalkovič´s contract extension

Milan Lalkovič has signed a year extension, which validates his contract until the end of 2013/2014.

The Blues offered one year extension following the last season, which Slovak u-21 international partially spent in Portuguese Superliga, having occured only in 8 competitive games as substitute player.

"I feel happy Chelsea offered me an extension and better conditions. The first team is about to start pre-season, but the Reserves team has already started. I am doing my best to be in good shape before the season´s start. I passed medical and underwent physical testing today," says Milan on Tuesday afternoon.

One year imput to his contract might not automatically mean that Milan stays with The Blues for whole season. "We will see, what happens. Nothing is done until it is signed. I am happy to be with Chels now and that´s the most important," added Milan.
