25 years old striker should help loanee club with his goals.
"Czech league is a new challenge for me. I believe it could be mutual cooperation, so we help each other. There were several bids but I picked Zlín, because the club showed really big interest as well as the reputed coach Pavel Vrba did. I am looing forward to working with him. I will do my best to help the team," says Filip Balaj, hoping that injuries which prevented him from playing more games in Poland would go far away from him.
"There were several clubs interested when Cracovia announced they would loan-out our striker. Filip has finally decided for Zlín, where he is going to spend the rest of the season," sums up player´s agent Milan Lednický.
A day after confirming the loan, Filip left to Malta to join his new team. FC Zlín are taking part in international Tipsport Cup, which ends up next Thursday. Czech league 2nd leg starts on last weekend of January, seeing Zlín host Baník Ostrava in the opening game.
