Winning start to play-offs

Adrián Kaprálik helped Slovakian u-21 side beat Ukraine in Friday´s 1leg of UEFA EURO-21 preliminary.

Ahead of return leg held in Polish Bialsko Biala, Team Slovakia earns one goal lead thanks to 3-2 victory in Žilina, which is the home stadium of Adrián Kaprálik.

MŠK Žilina forward played 84 minutes.

"The important thing is that we won, but it´s still open as we are only in halftime. We will do our best to get into final tournament, although we know it would not be easy," admits Kaprálik, surrounded by large group of family members, who cheer him on every single home game.

The crucial fight for EURO-21 is set for Tuesday. Due political situation, Polish Bielsko Biala was set as game venue, which is not that far from Žilina, where Slovaks have their national camp.

U21-EURO is held in Romania and Georgia in 2023.
